Agriculture is a primary source of livelihood for the majority of Indians. Thus, generally, it remains the last priority among students choosing a career option. Which is a very wrong assumption. Dear Neeraj, Jobs can be got by students of B.Sc. Agriculture with firms of the private or public sectors. With public sector firms, one can get employed as Agricultural Research Scientist (ARS). But to get employed into this position, it will be needed for applicants to write an admission test. Job opportunities are also available for applicants as teachers. Talking about Government jobs, State Agriculture Departments recruits Graduates to fill up Officer level posts. Government Banks also recruits Graduates to fill up Officer level posts (generally dealing with Loans).

4 years agoDear Neeraj, there is a wide scope of agriculture in India and Abroad and there are lot of university in India which are offering agriculture courses, but as per my knowledge We have to choose those colleges which are self-reliant in sources. For this I will recommend Lovely Professional university which is accredited by ICAR and have their own field for research related to agriculture and Best faculty members for agricultural research. -
