What is the scope of B.Sc in biotechnology? Which is a better course to pursue, B.Sc in biotechnology or BPT?

I have opted for PCB in HSC.

    I think, you should go for biotechnology. Biotechnology has lot of scope in future. You can go for research, genetic engineering, immunology, microbiology, bioinformatics, plant tissue culture, animal tissue culture, microbial biotechnology and much more.

    You can make career in agriculture, health care, industrial research and development, environment conservation, etc.
    Mainly students should focus on industrial research as it have bright career.

    Hi,
    BPT has better scope if you are keen to work in this sector. B.Sc biotech is slowly picking up and would need more number of years to establish. Rest depends on your interest. If you like caring for people and wish to work closely with doctors, BPT is good. Otherwise, biotech too has scope in agriculture, research, genetics, etc.
