B.Tech in civil engineering is more or less same as in other countries are in India only different it make is the competition which you would be facing after your graduation or a job.

Every B.Tech stream has a good scope. The only thing is, you have to achieve above 78% in it. What matters in the end is the percentage and knowledge that you have gained there. If your percentile is low, your degree is useless in any stream.
