In every branch of education a chance of good placement available. But the requirement is the knowledge of he subject . In present environment it is seen by an large the parents and the student wants placement first and knowledge second. this is only problem. So my advice to you that without thinkin

Its my personal experience, I have experienced with my colleagues from all branches.
Guys from Electronics got jobs after a struggle. May be Indian market is not that filled with the same industries. There are very few companies I knew in Mumbai and Pune.
