Compared to B.Tech alone, BCA + MCA is no doubt a better option for pursuing software education. Because, BCA+MCA has really good scope now and good job opportunities.

    Hello,
Both have good scopes, but I would prefer B.Tech, because of professional front and more job opportunities. All the best.

BCA+MCA has better scope then the B.Tech as in these 2 courses you will become master and can easily grab a job but in the B.Tech you can't do that and you to roam here and there to get a job.

According to my opinion, B.Tech has very diverse subjects in 4 years which you can study, whereas, BCA /MCA have a very limited domain of computers, but B.Tech allows you to study anything. B.Tech has much more scope than BCA/MCA in futute if you really have the passion for doing engineering. If you are really a struggler and have a great mind, you should go for engineering if you think you are an average student then you should go for BCA (that provides you knowledge with very limited domain) because I think engineering is not meant for average students. Hence, choose your course according to your stretch of hard work and mind.

Indian IT industry treats B.Tech in CSE graduates superior to MCA graduates, but B.Tech in IT and MCA graduates are treated equally in the job market.

BCA and MCA are the courses concerned with computer applications while B.Tech (CSE/IT) is the mainstream in which along with programming various subjects are there to study like data structure, DBMS, network analysis, electronics, etc.
