    Scope of BCA is increasing now because, now the market in India is inching more and more towards service industry. So, software developers will be in high demand, so BCA is automatically a good option for learning software development and other software related programs.

    Dear Justin, I did post graduation from Lovely Professional University and I have few friends who has done BCA and currently they are working with MNCs with decent package. One of my friend told me that In BCA you will learn about some interesting subjects like Mathematics, Computer Programming, Computer Networking, Database Management Systems and, Software Engineering. Besides the core compulsory subjects, students can choose from a wide variety of subjects as their pathway elective or minor elective.     It would be a good choice to opt for Lovely Professional University as in the present scenario this is the university which caters to the all round development of its students and nurtures it with care to boost the career to a pinnacle of ultimate success which might be the envy of many.     BCA is a good option you also go for MCA after BCA A degree in computer applications gives ample scope for excellent career development, a large number of IT companies are diverting their choice from BE graduates to BCA graduates, because they claim that, BCA graduates are capable of doing the most kind of jobs that BE graduates have been doing so far.     Well, in future BCA graduates will have greater opportunities in IT sector, as the demand for programmers is increasing. And with the increase of programming the BCA graduates are likely to get higher salaries for coding and programming.

    The scope depends on you. If you learn and develop the skills and knowledge in those 3 years of BCA then you'll be able to secure a nice paying job. You need to be good at programming if you want to make a successful career after BCA. It is highly recommended that you should also pursue MCA after BCA to get more knowledge and freedom to work in different areas of IT.
