What is the scope of BCA in the future?

Scope of BCA is increasing now because, now the market in India is inching more and more towards service industry. So, software developers will be in high demand, so BCA is automatically a good option for learning software development and other software related programs.

Dear Justin, I did post graduation from Lovely Professional University and I have few friends who has done BCA and currently they are working with MNCs with decent package. One of my friend told me that In BCA you will learn about some interesting subjects like Mathematics, Computer Programming, Computer Networking, Database Management Systems and, Software Engineering. Besides the core compulsory subjects, students can choose from a wide variety of subjects as their pathway elective or minor elective. The scope of BCA is, BCA graduates have good scope in jobs as a Web Developer, Web Designer, Network Administrator, System Manager, Computer Programmer, Software Developer, Software Tester, etc. Depending on the skills you acquire during your BCA. Various companies, organizations, and MNCs offer the above-mentioned jobs to BCA candidates. The curriculum is revised occasionally to keep students up-to-date and industry ready. They give a very good amount of training before you go into campus placements. Don't miss out on that as in the end, all we need is a decent place with good exposure. Industry certifications, MOOCs, Hackathons, Workshops, Guest lectures, Educational Trips, Live projects, Incubation projects, Community projects, are an integral part of the curriculum. Hello. BCA is a good option you also go for MCA after BCA A degree in computer applications gives ample scope for excellent career development, a large number of IT companies are diverting their choice from BE graduates to BCA graduates, because they claim that, BCA graduates are capable of doing the most kind of jobs that BE graduates have been doing so far. A significant point is, there are a lot of opportunities and demand in the IT industry specifically for BCA graduates, who will be sharing the work along with Engineering graduates on the same projects. BCA Is a 3 years long Undergraduate Level Bachelors Degree programme. The course structure is quite similar to the traditional B.Sc. Programme. The 3 years duration is divided into 6 semesters, each lasting a period of 6 months. During each semester, students have to face different sets of written exams as well as practical and lab sessions. Though there are many universities or Colleges offering BCA. But Lovely Professional University has an edge over others in all the aspects from academics, to placements, practical learning to faculty and many more. Well, in future BCA graduates will have greater opportunities in IT sector, as the demand for programmers is increasing. And with the increase of programming the BCA graduates are likely to get higher salaries for coding and programming.

BCA makes the base for a successful career in the software field. MCA adds the specialised touch. The scope depends on you. If you learn and develop the skills and knowledge in those 3 years of BCA then you'll be able to secure a nice paying job. You need to be good at programming if you want to make a successful career after BCA. It is highly recommended that you should also pursue MCA after BCA to get more knowledge and freedom to work in different areas of IT.
