what is the scope of ccna certification?

I completed my B.E in ECE in 2007 after that I acquired 3 years experience in telecom in the area of optical fibre network operations.Due to less financial growth I quit my job last year in 2010 and after that joined PG course of Mtech. Now I want to go for CCNA will it benefit me?
