    The average pay package in civil is Rs.3.5 lacs to Rs.4 lacs currently, but in this branch most of the students are going for either higher studies or help their family in construction business. The branch is good and faculties in RV are also good. But if you want high packages like Rs.10-20 lpa then in Bangalore you should go for computer science or information science branch. There is also a branch change option after first year so if you don't want to end being a civil engineer then you can opt for these branches too. But for computer science and IS branch you need to get 9.2+ pointer in first year. The pointer you get also depends

    if you are interested in civil, then pursue it.any branch in RV must be good only.But, if you are getting some other branch of your interest, then go for BMS and then for Ramiah.At last, it all depends on you, you should choose your interest. all the best!!!!!

    The college you are referring is good, and has good faculty for civil engineering.
    Scope of civil engineering more or less remains the same but with increase technology in the field of construction today the demand for the skilled civil engineers expert in a particular technologies are in great demand so if you have a specific knowledge about Technologies, then you are good to go with the prospect of future civil engineer.
    Civil engineering is one of the core branches of Engineering it is the branch which is the base of many Constructions there is lot of scope in it you can get a job in the government sector under the Civil Engineer post
