The average pay package in civil is Rs.3.5 lacs to Rs.4 lacs currently, but in this branch most of the students are going for either higher studies or help their family in construction business. The branch is good and faculties in RV are also good. But if you want high packages like Rs.10-20 lpa then in Bangalore you should go for computer science or information science branch. There is also a branch change option after first year so if you don't want to end being a civil engineer then you can opt for these branches too.
