What is the scope of civil engineering in the future?

In both the public and commercial sectors, civil engineering is one of the most demanded programmes today. A new civil engineering graduate can start a business in a variety of fields, including supplying construction and building materials, civil contractor, project management and design consultant, real estate marketing, material testing laboratories, and construction equipment suppliers. My friend also received his B.Tech and M.Tech in Civil Engineering from LPU and was hired by a multinational corporation. Civil engineers are needed when the world is on the verge of collapsing and we need to reconstruct it. In India, as well as other nations, there is a great need for civil engineering. Construction is one of those sectors where you may make a lot of money. A civil engineer's starting wage is modest in comparison to other engineers. Later on, though, the sky is the limit. Dear Pritish, Civil engineering is one of the most demanding programme nowadays in both public and private sectors. There are so many avenues where a fresh civil engineering graduate also becomes an entrepreneur in various areas such as supplying construction and building materials, civil contractor, project management and design consultant, real estate marketing, material testing laboratories, equipment suppliers to construction, My friend also did B.Tech and M.Tech in Civil from LPU and got placed in an MNC. The following are the highlights of Civil engineering in LPU: - 1. Most of the faculty staff are from reputed organizations with their the highest degree from various reputed institutes such as IITs, NITs, etc. Apart from that, faculty have got previous industrial experience also. 2. The capstone project is an integral part of B.Tech programme in which students have to pick a live project based on the practical problem-based scenario (ideally from industry) and work for six months under a mentor and present a report at the end. This is beneficial to enhance your presentation skills. 3. There is an internship programme which could be an opportunity for getting work experience and increase your chance to get employment after you pass out. But, of course, your academic record should be good to get this placement option. 4. Industrial visits are organized to nearby construction sites from time to time. There, you can SEE actual construction work going on. Be prepared to have dust on your shoes (believe me, it will be worth a lot). You have to ask questions yourself and trigger interest in the activities around you. 5. You will get some courses from soft skills, English language, mental and analytical aptitude side. This sounds dull to you as of now. But you will feel its importance when you face an interview panel in a company during your placement drives. 6. They have very good placement records and good infrastructure companies visit their campus, L & T, Simplex Piles Ltd, Era Infrastructure, Gammon India Ltd to name a few. 7. Career oriented Software training in project labs is given. To work in this profession, you are supposed to be familiar with software like MS-Project, STAAD Pro, MX Road, etc. None the less, you will be trained in Auto CAD in your second year which is prerequisite for any Civil Engineer. You take either government sector or private sector, civil engineering has good scope in both the sectors.

Civil engineering is one of the core branches of Engineering, it is the branch which is the base of many Constructions there is lot of scope in it you can get a job in the government sector under the Civil Engineer post which is highly reputed.
