Database administrators (DBAs) is a specialist skill and DBA use specialised software to store and organise data. The role may include capacity planning, installation, configuration, database design, migration, performance monitoring, security, troubleshooting, as well as backup and data recovery. DBA are required by very medium and large size corporations to maintain enterprise business databases. Experienced DBAs have a good market. You may go for Oracle, SQL or DB2 DBA certification to start your DBA career.
