Without teeth, a sweet smile also looks pale, or we can say that healthy teeth are just as important in our lives as other parts of our body. After getting a degree in BDS / MS you can get a job as a doctor in government hospitals or private hospitals, or you can also open your own private hospital, clinic. You can also work as a teacher in any medical institute. Therefore, it would not be wrong to say that Dental course is a good option in terms of career. After the dental courses, students get jobs easily in many places. Nowadays, due to many problems related to teeth, there are very good scope of job in this field.

Let me tell you the "scope". I will refer to oral and Maxillofacial (OMFs) aspects here. Firstly you do BDS (you can start practice) then go for MS with 9 specialists. My favourite is OMFs. After doing OMFs, you can start practice and even join a college as a professor. Still, if you want to get educated more, you have fellowships like Head and Neck Oncology, Facial Cosmetic Fellowship and Craniofacial Deformities Fellowship. You are already a super specialised doctor now. Still, you want to get educated. Go for Ph.D. Options. This is all about scope only in the dental field. You can even go beyond dental (clinical) field.

    Hi,
Dentistry has a lot of scope globally inclusive India. The thing is that ,what are you going to do with BDS later.
Only thing you need to have is a good reputed institution with a high caliber staff (as in pvt colleges ) and good patient input in the institute (as in govt colleges ).
If you have hunger to learn the skills, sky is the limit.
Well you can go abroad as well to pursue higher education or else u can give exams prescribed by the country u want to go and continue your practice. This affair can be a bite expensive and grueling .
So if you want to settle in USA for whatever reason ,there are few states which allow Masters degree
