What is the scope of doing the integrated BBA-MBA programme from LPU?

BBA+MBA is a 5-year integrated programme opted for by the students after clearing the 12th degree. The programme will allow the candidates to gain management skills at a beginner as well as master level. The integrated MBA programme is beneficial for those students who are looking for a master's education after a Bachelor's degree. The Business School of LPU is accredited by ACBSP, Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs from the USA ensuring quality education and industry experienced faculty members. At LPU may be given the option to join partner/ receiving university abroad for the completion of programme subject to conditions and norms of regulatory bodies. Credit Transfer Option is applicable only for the BBA programme. If a student wants to opt for this option then the student has to change the programme from an Integrated degree to a regular BBA Degree. International Exposure Option - Students may be given an option to go for 4 weeks study tour to USA/ European countries or any other country as decided by the University subject to conditions. Semester Exchange - Students may be given an option to join a partner/ receiving university abroad for a semester as decided by the University subject to conditions. Im a passout from LPU and have profoundly utilized my time here in shaping my personality along with self-analysis. Unlike other universities, rules and regulations are quite strict here. From academics to extra-curricular activities, thorough support is given by our mentors/seniors, professors and management. I would say, Both dual degree or integrated BBA+MBA is great in LPU. It really depends on your choice. If you think you can spare one more year in the study then go for a dual degree, or if you want to finish it off quickly and start pursuing your dreams, then go for the integrated. The difference of the both is well evident. Integrated course is a 4 year course and dual degree is all total 5 years. Integrated you cannot quit MBA and need to complete the course of 4 years to get the degree but in Dual degree you have a exit option after completing BBA and not continuing with your MBA. As far as I came to know from LPU alumni, LPU has been ranked 49 in the Management ranking in 2020 by National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF). The Business School of LPU is accredited from ACBSP, Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs from the USA ensuring quality education and industry experienced faculty members. If you talk about the essence of content delivered in all these universities is more or less the same. If you speak to the students of these universities, you will come to know that almost all of them are following and reading the same lessons in class and might be doing the same topic assignments as well. Now we need to wonder where it makes the difference, MBA is something which is completely relatable to your surroundings, its a management thing. If you say marketing is a specialisation in MBA, then marketing is all around us. And how you are able to relate the content in books and the content around you is a task. To get this level of thinking, you need to broaden your thoughts, you need to be a part of brainstorming activities and you have to start learning from your surroundings. And this is where the role of faculty members or environment or university is help upon. As per my personal experience, I am able to SEE such level of thinking in a MBA guy (alumni) from Lovely Professional University. Though the university might be hailing at some features, but still I am impressed to SEE the outputs delivered by the students of LPU. Around 650+ companies visit every year for campus-recruitment of students from LPU. LPU provides ample opportunities to each and every eligible student of LPU. Companies like Colgate Palmolive, Hindustan Unilever, Godrej Consumer, Asian Paints, Baja etc. At LPU, it is not about calling companies, it is about preparing students and making sure that they get selected. The university puts its best efforts for the grooming of the students to get good placements. Few of these efforts are like: Corporate interactions, Live project with industry, HR conclaves, Industry tie-ups and centres of excellence etc. BBA+MBA Career Options and Job Prospects: They may search for career opportunities in industries like banks, multinational corporations, NGOs, finance companies, export and trading houses, PSUs, and manufacturing companies. In my opinion definitely Yes. after all, LPU has one of the best B- schools in India, and the Mittal School of Business is accredited by ACBSP, Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs from the USA ensuring quality education and industry-experienced faculty members, studying in LPU will get a degree accredited from a body of USA. This program is designed to give students the knowledge, hands on skills, analytical and leadership abilities they need for fast track global careers in blue chip companies with one year less span of time in comparison to BBA and MBA seperately. An integrated MBA graduate gets better opportunities than a BBA graduate. After completing a 3-year BBA, a person will usually get jobs only at the entry-level. I would say Integrated course at LPU not just save a year but is financially compatible as well. As per my view LPU has an edge in terms of curriculum, exposures, and placements.
