Electrical & Electronics engineers can work in wide range of fields such as power generation, electronics, computers & control systems, telecommunication and Bio-Medical. Job responsibilities may include specification, design, development, and implementation of products or systems, as well as research to create new ideas. -

The present Indian Govt has already embarked on 'Make In India' concept. Many big ticket projects are in pipeline which may fructify fully by the time you finish your graduation. I, therefore, feel there is great scope in both branches you are mentioning.
