Event management is coming up as a major industry in India and people today who have had no prior experience in it are really making big bucks and also creating employment opportunities for others. Coming on to event management, It's an application of project management in which event or a function or a conference can be taken as a project and you will be executing it. But, I am afraid it only includes your creative skills. Some amount of maths and so on is required for sure. You will be making strategies, allocating budget and timelines and so on. brand building, marketing and communication strategy. The event manager is an expert at the creative, technical and logistical elements that help an event succeed. This includes event design, audio-visual production, script writing, logistics, budgeting, negotiation and, of course, client service. It is a multi-dimensional profession.
