    Jobs opportunities exist in public and private sector, some of them might include career opportunities and entrepreneurial opportunities in Aquaculture (Farms and Hatcheries), Fish Processing Industries, Quality Control Labs
    Jobs in public sector include opportunities in state and central government departments through State Public Service Commissions or UPSC. Besides fisheries aspirants can become a Scientists in the Central Fisheries Institutes after they clear the ICAR - A.R.S. exam. Some banks seem to hire fisheries graduates as Agricultural Officers and Fisheries Officers. They serve as vital links between the bank and the customer

    There is tremendous scope in every field. You should pursue a stream based on two things :
    - your career goal
    - the type of job you want to do
    Find below few job avenues open in the respective fields :
    1) Fisheries Science :
    * After completing the course, you can find employment in the public sector organizations such as the fisheries department and the nationalized banks.
    Opportunities lie in government agencies, State Departments of Agriculture and organisations such as the Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute (CMFRI).
    Recruitment to these institutions is through the State Public Service Commission.
