In Germany, only homeopaths who are registered health care practitioners (Heilpraktiker) or medical doctors are allowed to treat patients irrespective of the therapy being used. Heilpraktiker is a medical profession recognised by the German government, based on the Heilpraktikergesetz law of 1939. T
