    If I were cheeky enough, I would say, the sky is the limit. But, being a practical person, and an engineer by training, and after tending to server and computer systems for about 15 years, I should know better. Instrumentation offered me (in the late 90s) an opportunity to learn about transducers, industrial process control, and all sorts of instruments in all walks of life. The most interesting types were mechanical transduction instruments (flow meter and the like). These formed the basic building blocks in all major instrument systems.
