What is the scope of IT or Finance?
i m doin my soft course frm NIIT & Mcom in finance. simultaneously i m working as soft dev. confused whether to mk carrer in IT or Finance

Hi,
The point of view mentioned by BMTY is true however this should not surpass your interests. I would suggest you to equate your interest and the present experienc that you have achieved till date, based on these factors only you should come up with a decision and construct a bright future ahead.

Since you are already in Software Industry , You should stick to it and keep your skills Update as per industry , As you are from Commerce background Its better if you switch to segments like ERP .

Both the sector are the best one in their own respect,you have to choose in which you have interested, from your qualification(Mcom),i must suggest u should go for Finance as it is the best sector many vacancy are there in bank and many more and now a day many engineer are also opting for a MBA(fin

Since you are experienced in IT, IT career can take you to greater heights. Alternately, you can concentrate on development of finance software.
