Lot of prospects. You may opt for teaching and research profession with universities/ engg colleges, you have option for project engineering jobs with good engineering consultants, number of manufacturing units now employ specialists with ME degree to help them improve technology...

M.Tech degree programme definitely has a great scope in India, although, you have not mentioned the specialization , but taking the reference of your last query I gauge that you are planning for Computer Science Engineering, so, I would say Computer Science is a huge domain which not on
