After completing the M.Ed course, candidates can either choose to continue in school teaching wherein they can apply for the positions of Vice-Principal or Principal after demonstrating 8-10 years of teaching experience as well as proficiency in handling school administration.

They can also choose to enter into university teaching by pursuing academic roles such as Assistant Professor or Professor in universities. For this, they must clear UGC NET and pursue PhD in EducationThus, career opportunities after M Ed are abundant.
