    Hi, Economics qualification is very good recognised in the Indian banking sector, insurance sector etc. , and if you are interested in teaching field then you can become an economics teacher/professor in colleges/universities. After doing M.A. In economics, the best career option for you will be qualifying UGC NET exam. This is a national level exam conducted by NTA which determines the candidates' eligibility of becoming assistant professor in any of the prestigious universities across India, the payout is also high.     If you want to become an economist, then it is a best option. Along with MA in economics, you can do some other beneficial courses.
