In mass communication, you are made to learn a lot of things that can help you get a good opportunity in the Film Industry. If you wish to become an actor, then your communication skills are polished throughout the course. If in case you wish to opt for a career into direction or editing then you are made to learn a lot of tools and techniques to get hold of the areas.

Hi. The answer is Yes. I am currently an aspiring filmmaker and I work as an Assistant Director and Production Assistant with a TVC Production House. My academic qualification is a Master's in Mass Communication and I can confidently say that I have learnt the very essence and craft of filmmaking while doing my Master's.
