    The MBA in IT after engineering programme is helpful to expose the students to advanced technical and analytical skills, leadership, project management and team management.     MBA IT is a sector specific MBA. You are eligible for MBA IT after BBM. MBA IT will prepare you for pre-sales support, sales and marketing, account management and business analysis in IT industry. But, you will compete with normal MBA from good colleges for these roles. I will recommend you to do generic MBA, not sector specific MBA as it will restrict your career opportunities.
