What is the scope of medical electronics engineering?

I scored 1046 marks in HSC with 181 marks as the engineering cut-off. I want to pursue medical electronics engineering.

    Medical Electronics is a specialised discipline, which integrates engineering with Biomedical Sciences and Clinical Practice. Medical Electronics engineers develop imaging devices such as magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and procedures that solve medical and health-related problems such as automating insulin injections or controlling body functions. This field seeks to close the gap between engineering and medicine. The discipline is a combination of design and problem solving skills of engineering with medical and biological sciences in order to develop healthcare treatment, which includes diagnosis, monitoring, treatment and therapy.
