The scope for nephrologists is vast, as kidney diseases are increasing globally majorly because of rising cases of diabetes as well as the hypertension.

Nephrologists can work in the hospitals, kidney transplant centres and even dialysis units or they can either pursue research or even academics.

With all the advancements in dialysis and transplant procedures, the demand for nephrologists is at an all time high. India, the USA, and the UK, all these offer significant career opportunities in both clinical practice and research in nephrology.
