    It is one of the brightest when it comes to studying petroleum And energy studies. There are a lot of girls taking up the core sectors, it is a misconception that it has to be a field job, which Is not true . This field has lot of opportunities for both girls and boys, There are ot of Girls pursuing this and doing pretty good with their life and career. If you want to do office job then further you can do MBA in Oil and Gas Management after completing your B.tech. This would be really the best bet for your career. Some of the best university to pusrsue this course would be UPES Dehradoon, ISM Dhanbad, Deendayal school of petroleum stud

    Petroleum engineers are employed in jobs which are mainly concentrated in oil and gas extraction, professional, scientific and technical services and petroleum refining.
    One can also entail the option of working as a scientist/researcher to carry out the R&D processes.
