What is the scope of pursuing B.Com?

There are plentiful job opportunities for the commerce graduates in India and abroad. On successful completion of B Com, aspirants can seek out for career in public and private sector undertakings. PSC and Banking services exams are conducted in public sector for the recruitment of these graduates. They can also attend the U.P.S.C. exams, Combined Defense Services exam, Air Force Accounts exams and so on. Aspirants can also apply for the banking sector jobs like clerical and Probationary Officers jobs. Those who wish for a career abroad should write the GRE/GMAT exam. Professionals can apply for jobs in industries, media and communication and in multi national companies. They can also opt for clerical or accountancy jobs in health care, educational institutions, industries and in financial service sector. MBA Finance can be a higher study option for B Com holders apart form M Com. CA/CWA/CS etc can be pursued along with or after a B Com. International certifications such as ACCA/CIMA etc can be advantageous for international level of jobs.

BCom is an undergraduate degree. There are various types of BCom like BCom General, BCom Hons, etc. After BCom, you can go for MCom, or MBA if you like. Obtaining a degree also opens doors for you to appear in various compititive exams like IBPS, SBI- PO, SBI- Clerk, for good jobs. This is the basic scope for pursuing BCom course. All the best !!
