What is the scope of pursuing PGDM with dual specialisation in finance & marketing from NDIM? Which one should I choose as major & minor?

I want the best possible package after 2-years of PGDM. Will better placement possibilities increases after having a dual specialisation PGDM degree? In which year will I need to choose my specialisation? I am an average student with commerce background.

    Hi Prakhar,
Unlike most other PGDMs and MBA programmes, PGDM at NDIM is unique as the students graduate with 'Dual Specialization' rather than 1 major and 1 minor specialization as in most other b-schools. Students pick up 2 Major Specializations out of HR, Marketing, Finance, IT & Systems, Media Marketing & Communication, Logistics-Supply Chain Management & Operations and International Business. MBA with two Specializations multiplies the career opportunities and opens up wider options.
And, you need to choose your specialisation after 1st semester.

As you said you are from commerce background then as major finance is better but marketing is also better. Marketing and finance are the best specialisation having more job opportunities and career growth.

The scope of both finance and marketing is good in NDIM. You can choose any of them as Major 1.
