What is the scope of pursuing PhD in English?

I have done MA and MPhil in English. I have been a topper.

    Ph.D in English qualification will make you eligible to teach in universities in India & abroad and help make career in field of higher education ad teacher and/or educational administrator. Based on your profile, it is recommended that you must do Ph.D in English.

    Hello Sanjana Verma, If you are that good in English, then you should go for lectureship. It is really reputed work in India. If you are not in interested in it then you should become a writer. Writers work in many industries, such as publishing, technology, business, not-for-profit, advertising and media.

    They write technical manuals, website copy, company newsletters or magazine articles. Just like editors, some writers choose to freelance as a source of income. Best of luck!
