What is the scope of VFX in India?

The animation industry has immense career scope. Finding a job in the visual effects & graphics industry is all about refining your own style & possessing the grit to get to the top. I believe that the animation and visual effects industry in India has a very optimistic future, not only with the film industry in West & games companies who are always looking for a talented, young & enthusiastic workforce, but also India has its own huge film and media industry.

4 years agoHi Pawanpreet, Basically, India is a media and entertainment savvy nation and is also produces the highest number of feature films in the world with over 1000 films every year. Every film has minimum 50-100 VFX shots to maximum 4000-5000 shots. VFX is a laborious and highly skilled work. For a film like Bahubali, it took two years to complete the VFX with over 600 artists working on it. So, you can imagine the number of people required and the volume of work which needs to be done from time to time. I am just talking about films. If you take up VFX, it would be better if you do it after learning animation, otherwise you'd be stuck in a Rotoscopy job for lifetime. Also, it would be helpful, if you're good with dynamics, or matte painting, since those would offer you areas for growth.

the future or or scope in india of VFX is very shining because it is growing at a high rate & it is not only demanding by children, also in demand with youth & upper age group. as per a survey now a days you can earn much better than before with job or start your own work.
