    UPES offers a total of 3,010 seats for the BTech/BTech (Hons) course. Admissions to these seats follow two categories: the non-exam category, which allocates 10% of seats through JEE Mains and 10% through Board Merit, and the exam category, where seats are filled based on UPES Examination and other tests conducted by the university. The selection process for the BTech course considers performance in JEE Main/CUET/SAT India and the candidate's merit in their last qualifying examination.     The total seat intake for BTech/ BTech (Hons) course is 3,010. Up to 20% seats shall be filled through the non-exam category (10% through JEE Mains and 10% through Board Merit). In case of seats following vacant in this category; UPES has the right to fill these through UPES Examination. University also reserves the right to conduct further CBT/ pen-paper/ online test for admission.
