What is the section wise weightage in REET exam?

The REET exam consists of two papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2. The section-wise weightage for each paper is as follows: a) REET Paper 1 Section-wise Weightage: - Child Development and Pedagogy: 30 marks - Language I Hindi English Sanskrit, Urdu, Sindhi, Punjabi, and Gujarati): 30 marks - Language II Hindi English Sanskrit, Urdu, Sindhi, Punjabi, and Gujarati): 30 marks - Mathematics: 30 marks - Environmental Studies: 30 marks - Total: 150 marks b) REET Paper 2 Section-wise Weightage: - Child Development and Pedagogy: 30 marks - Language I Hindi English Sanskrit, Urdu, Sindhi, Punjabi, and Gujarati): 30 marks - Language II Hindi English Sanskrit, Urdu, Sindhi, Punjabi, and Gujarati): 30 marks - Mathematics and Science: 60 marks (30 marks for Mathematics and 30 marks for Science) - Social Studies: 60 marks (30 marks for Social Studies and 30 marks for either History, Geography, Political Science or Economics) - Total: 150 marks It is important for candidates to note that each section carries equal weightage in the exam, and it is important to aim to score well in each section to meet the sectional cut-off and increase their chances of qualifying for the exam.
