The exam consists of 40 questions in each section – Quantitative Ability, Logical Reasoning, and Verbal Ability. This means that candidates need to manage their time efficiently, allocating 40 minutes to solve the questions in each of the three sections. Each question carries 4 marks, and there is a negative marking of 1 mark for every incorrect answer. All the questions in IPMAT are Mul

The IPMAT exam is conducted for two hours or 120 minutes. The exam is conducted every year in the computer-based test mode. Thus candidates have to be mindful of the on-screen timer and pre-decide the number of questions to solve in each section. It is not mandatory to solve all the questions in IPMAT e

Even if the candidate clears the sectional and overall cutoff in IPMAT exam but does not get shortlisted for the PI round, it means that the candidate is eligible but not among the top-ranked candidates based on the composite score. Such a candidate will not be considered for admission to the IPM programme.

Such candidates can opt for reappearing for the exam next year, as there is no provision of re-evaluation. Candidates can also consider applying to other institutes which accept IPMAT Indore scores, such as NIRMA University, TAPMI, etc.
