<p>The selection criterion for the B.E./B.Tech course at Bapuji Institute of Engineering and Technology (BIET) is an entrance exam. The candidate has to attend the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) or the COMEDK UGET exam. Admission is made according to the rank achieved in these exams along with the 10+2 marks of the candidate in relevant subjects which are Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry/Biology. Management quota seat candidates would be short-listed based on their marks in the 10+2 qualification and their performance in the internal examination/interview held. KCET or COMEDK UGET rank-holder students would have a preferential choice over general admission.</p>
