The merits for getting the admission into B.E./B.Tech course in GMR Institute of Technology (GMRIT) are mainly based on the Andhra Pradesh EAMCET (Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture, and Medical Common Entrance Test) scores of the students who come under the state quota. Whereas, in management quota, the institute conducts internal counseling or accepts national-level entrance test results. Candidates must satisfy the eligibility criteria mentioned in their 10+2 exams with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects while having a minimum score. Those with higher ranks of Andhra Pradesh EAMCET are preferred over others.
