B.E./B.Tech selection criteria are mainly based on entrance test performance and qualifications. Candidates for the college must have a strong 10+2 educational background with a focus on Science streams especially in mathematics, physics, and chemistry. Admission is mostly purely entrance exam score and entrance tests specific to Andhra Pradesh - usually EAMCET scores, although other recognised engineering entrance tests can also be accepted. The final selection is normally based on fulfilling the cut-off ranks, which may vary from year to year, and also fulfilling the eligibility criteria set by the college.
