  • The selection criteria for the B.E./B.Tech course at GCELT is primarily based on performance in entrance exams. Candidates must have passed 10+2 from any recognised board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as mandatory subjects. Admission is mainly through the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) or through the All India JEE Main exam. Candidates are needed to achieve cut-off ranks for the courses. The college offers some seats under lateral entry in case of Diploma holders also. Candidates who have passed the entrance exam are included in the counseling process for seat allocation at central level.

Selection criteria are mainly based on performance in Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) for B.E./B.Tech Course at GCELT. Students must qualify for counseling process under West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board, WBJEEB. Admission will be strictly made on merit and preference for category reservations and JEE marks. For the detailed admission guide and the eligibility criteria, please visit the GCELT website or the WBJEEB portal.
