<p>The selection criteria for B.E. or B.Tech courses at the Government College of Engineering, Karad include:</p><p>Passing score: A minimum of 45% in 12th grade</p><p>Subjects: Physics and Mathematics are compulsory subjects, along with one of the following: Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Technical Vocational subjects, Computer Science, IT, Informatics Practices, Agriculture, Engineering Graphics, or Business Studies</p><p>Entrance exam: Maharashtra State candidates must appear for MHT-CET, while All India candidates must appear for MHT-CET or JEE Mains. JEE Mains is preferred over MHT-CET.&nbsp;</p><p>The last round closing score for B.Tech in 2023 ranged from 89.28 to 97.17. B.E. in Information Technology was the most competitive specialization, followed by B.E. in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering.</p>
