To be eligible for B.E. / B.Tech admissions at Hirasugar Institute of Technology (HSIT), candidates must have completed their 12th grade with at least 45% aggregate marks in Physics, Mathematics, and one of the following optional subjects: Chemistry, Biology, Bio-Technology, or Computer Science. For SC/ST/OBC candidates from Karnataka, the minimum aggregate required is 40%. The admission process also considers performance in the KCET or COMEDK UGET exams. Additionally, candidates with a Diploma in engineering can apply for lateral entry after meeting specific criteria.
