    The selection criteria for the B.E./B.Tech programme at PA College of Engineering are primarily based on academic qualifications and the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions  process.  

    Candidates must have completed their 10+2 (or equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) as core subjects, securing at least 45% aggregate marks (40% for reserved categories). Admission is merit-based through the TNEA counseling process, which considers the marks obtained in the qualifying examination.

    PA College of Engineering offers B.E./B.Tech based on entrance tests and academic performance of the students. They require at least 45% marks in the aggregate of 10+2 with mathematics as a compulsory subject alongwith Physics and Chemistry/Physics, Chemistry and Biology. KCET Student take 45% seat, COMEDK/JEE Main students take 30% seat and remaining 25% seat are filled through management quota. KCET cutoff ranks are between 10000 to 20000, COMEDK cutoff ranks lies between 50000 to 80000 and JEE Main cutoff marks are between 60 to 120.
