    Since admission to MBA programme at Yuvarajas College, University of Mysore depends on the score in either the KMAT or the CMAT, the criteria for selection are these tests. The basic requirement for any participant is a bachelor's degree in any subject for any standard with minimum 50 % marks for general category and 45 % for SC/ST/OBC. Basing from the entrance examination, applicants are selected then undergo a counseling session. For Language and Literature and other related fields, extra weights could be added from the performance in academic, as well as prior working experience.     The selection criteria for the MBA/PGDM course at Yuvarajas College, University of Mysore are as follows:

    Eligibility: Bachelor's degree in any discipline with 50% marks (45% in case of candidates belonging to reserved categories).

    Entrance Examination:Unless a candidate has a valid score of one of the recognised national-level exams like CAT/XAT, s/he is required to take the KMAT/ MAT for most MBA courses.

    Group Discussion & Interview: All candidates with a score obtained in the entrance examination are shortlisted and are usually called for a Group Discussion (GD) & Personal Interview (PI).
