What is the selection criteria for admission to BTech Electrical Engineering?

<p>For admission to &lt;a href="https://www.shiksha.com/engineering/btech-in-electrical-engineering-chp"&gt;BTech Electrical Engg. course&lt;/a&gt;, most of the top colleges consider valid entrance exam scores where you need to get excellent marks and rank. The top IITs, NITs, and IIITs give you admission strictly on the basis of entrance test marks.</p><p>Having said that, there are more than 3,000 BTech EE colleges in India that admit students on the basis of marks secured in Class 12 board exams. Those colleges mostly take extra rounds like the GD or PI after entrance exam results to test the applicants.</p><p>Further, there may be a few colleges that give 50-50 weightage to both entrance exam marks and Class 12 scores. So, it is always better to check the websites of the colleges you're willing to apply to so as to have a clear picture in mind.</p>
