BTech is a four-year course divided into eight semesters.Class 12, candidates can apply for the BTech course. Admission to BTech is based on MGMU-CET, JEE Main, MHT CET and PERA CET. Apart from this, aspirants who have passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology with at least 45% aggregate 40% aggregate, in case of Backward Class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) can also apply for the BTech course.

JEE Main or MHT-CET scores are the main selection criteria for the B.Tech programme at Jawaharlal Nehru Engineering College (JNEC), Aurangabad. Candidates must have graduated from a recognised board in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with a minimum of 50% of the possible points (45% for those in reserved categories). The Maharashtra government oversees the Centralised Admission Process (CAP), which is used for admissions. Based on their performance and rank on the admission exam, students must select JNEC during the counselling process and register for CAP.
