Most of the top BTech Mechatronics Engineering colleges in India give you admission on the basis of entrance exam scores. Having said that, there are many private colleges that also admit students on the basis of Class 12 board exam marks and often take extra assessment rounds like the GD or PI.
Moreover, a few colleges may give 50-50 weightage to both the parameters. So, it is always good if you check the college websites and read their admission guidelines carefully to avoid any confusion at the time of admission.
