    The selection process at MIT's School of Humanities looks at an applicant's entire profile.

    For undergraduates:

    • You apply to MIT, not to a specific school.
    • you must have passed your 12th with 50% ( 45% for reserved category).
    • You must submit your grades, test scores (SAT/ACT) letters of recommendation etc.

    For graduates:

    • You apply to the department you want to study in.
    • You must submit your grades, a statement of purpose, letters of recommendation, and sometimes GRE scores.
    • You must have completed graduation with 50%.
