The selection of candidates to AKTU's BTech programme is based on their UPSEE ranks. The counselling process is also managed and regulated by UPSEE based on which the candidates are allotted seats. However, AKTU has reserved 20% of the total sanctioned seats for the candidates with a valid JEE Main score. JEE Main-qualified candidates are exempted from UPSEE and need to register directly for the counselling process.
