The Dr. D.Y. Patil Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology requires a minimum of 50% of applicants in their 12th class to be admitted to its B.Sc. programme (45% for Maharashtra Domicile reserved categories).

The B.Sc. program's selection procedure is based on the grades received in the qualifying exam from the prior year.

The minimum requirements for enrollment in the B.Sc. programme are passing the MSBSHSE-acquired HSC or 10+2.

    The selection is as follows
It's is based on following criterion:

    • Minimum of 50% in 10+2 from recognised board.
    • Entrance exams are also conducted by DET ( Directorate of Technical Education) of CET.
    • After clearing the entrance, counselling is conducted which is state level.
