    The Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) uses merit and counseling to select undergraduate students. The minimum marks required for TNEA admissions is 50% in intermediate or class 12th.

    Other eligibility criteria include:
    • Passing the intermediate (Class 12th) or equivalent examination from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as main subjects
    • A minimum of 60% along with a minimum of 50% in the English subject
    • An upper age limit of 25 years
    • A minimum height of 157 centimeters
    • A minimum weight of 48 kg
    • Must have a standard color vision
