For B.Tech. The selection process varies from university to university, but generally includes:

    1. JEE Main: Minimum percentage (varies by institute & category) marks are required.

    2. Class 12/equivalent: Minimum aggregate marks (around 50-60%) are required.

    3. Mentoring: Participate in centralized/organization specific mentorship rounds.

    4. Other factors: Some institutes consider 10th standard marks, entrance tests like BITSAT, or interviews.

    JEE Special Minimum Percentage:

General: Varies a lot depending on institute & branch (70-98+).

OBC-NCL: Less than 10-15% of normal.

SC/ST/PwD: Less than 25-30% of normal
