The selection process for B.Tech admission varies by college. Many colleges require a minimum of 75% aggregate in the Class 12 (or equivalent) board examination, with a minimum of 65% aggregate for SC, ST, and PWD students. Some colleges accept JEE Main 60-70 percentiles for B Tech admission, but require a minimum of 50% in Class 12th to be considered.
Please keep in mind that the minimum percentage required in JEE for B.Tech admission varies by college. Aside from IITs, NITs, and IIITs, many B.Tech colleges will admit you if your JEE Main score is higher than 80 percentile.
